WTW has hired Eusebio Lee as head of the Central America region based in Panama, this publication can reveal.

WTW Latin America leader Hector Martinez said: “We are pleased to have Eusebio joining our team of experts in the region. Central America is one of the markets with the greatest growth potential.

“We’re very well positioned in the market and I’m sure that adding the experience of our colleagues under the direction of Eusebio we will continue leveraging with solutions that our Central American clients need for the risks they face.”

The executive joins the broking firm from regional insurer ASSA, where he worked for nearly 16 years.

At ASSA, Lee served as executive vice president of business development.

WTW has been expanding in various markets with key hires in recent months.

Late last year, the company hired Diego Ventosa from Lockton as North America energy and infrastructure growth leader within its natural resources practice.

Ventosa supports clients globally with a focus on Latin America, reporting to WTW head of NA natural resources Bill Helander.

Last week, this publication revealed that Marsh’s energy and power practice leader in the Americas Rupert Mackenzie resigned to join WTW as head of natural resources.
