AIG becomes largest shareholder in Salford City FC

The deal follows a minority investment from the insurer in the summer.

AIG has become the largest shareholder in Salford City Football Club, having made a minority investment in August.

The insurer and the club have also signed a new multi-year commercial partnership that will run through the 2029/30 season.
