Tech-enabled MGA and digital insurance platform Slice, one of the earliest prominent InsurTech businesses, has been placed up for sale and will seek a buyer or lead backer through a formal process, Inside P&C can reveal.

Sources said that Slice, which has backers including Cooperators, XL Innovate, Munich Re, Axa, and Sompo, has retained RBC to advise on the transaction.
