Ian’s impact felt ‘throughout’ Florida due to large wind field: RMS

With its wide wind field and slow speed, Hurricane Ian will likely spread its impact throughout the state of Florida, with losses coming in all forms of perils – wind, storm surge and flooding – according to RMS modeler Jeff Waters.

In an interview with Inside P&C, Waters said that Ian “will be one of those events where we do see impacts throughout the state, and not just confined to one coastal area or one inland area”.
