AIG GI Q2 CoR rises as cats, lower reserve releases offset margin improvement

AIG’s general insurance (GI) Q2 combined ratio rose 3.5 points to 90.9% as higher catastrophe losses and lower reserve releases during the quarter outweighed a margin improvement driven by the commercial lines division.
