One80 acquires GMI Insurance to expand transportation practice

Boston-based wholesaler One80 announced Tuesday that it has acquired commercial auto-focused MGA GMI Insurance, in a deal for which terms were not disclosed.

GMI’s monoline business auto program targets contractors, artisans, building supply dealers, retailers, manufacturers and wholesale distributors.

The Pennsylvania-headquartered MGA also offers workers’ compensation, cannabis transport, general liability, auto rental fleet and contingent auto lease programs.
