Coalition CEO Joshua Motta has signaled a “mismatch” in valuation expectations at InsurTechs, and questioned when the capital raising environment will reach a point at which transactions can clear.

In an interview with this publication, the executive noted that on one hand, InsurTech executives have raised capital at significant valuations and will not want to raise or sell at a lower valuation.
