Insurance deals fall nearly 18% YoY to 233 in Q3: KPMG

M&A volume in the insurance sector declined 17.8% year-on-year to 233 transactions in Q3 and slowed 13% from Q2, according to consulting firm KPMG.

Meanwhile, KPMG reported that deal value plummeted to around $500mn in Q3 from $7.2bn in the prior quarter.
