Brown & Brown has appointed former Zurich chief transformation officer Kathleen Savio to its board of directors effective immediately, according to SEC filings made public Wednesday.

The appointment increases the size of the company’s board to 15 from 14.

Savio’s initial term expires at the carrier’s 2024 annual shareholder meeting, after which she is expected to be appointed to one or more of the board’s standing...
